There is an easy way to jump start weight loss without going on a formal diet plan.

By simply getting rid of all of your regular snack foods for example, chips, candy, cakes and whatever
other munchies that you have in your cupboard or regularly buy and switching your drinks to only diet
drinks you can shed a lot of pounds and fat.

Snack foods tend to be eaten in between meals. But if you stop and think at the times you start craving a
snack food, what you will realize is that your body is actually sending out a signal for nutrition. Most of us
ignore that signal and head to the snack food to get us through without even thinking, but those snack
foods don't do anything but add unneeded calories and unneeded fat producing elements such as sugars,
and within a short time you will be need to fulfill the nutritional need your body is asking for. The result is
that you have now eaten a snack food and a meal and that adds up to weight gain.

Do that all day long before lunch and before dinner and after dinner and you have added a tremendous
amount of calories and fat producing elements that have not benefited your body at all and instead is
adding weight.

By simply cutting out all snack foods and instead stopping to focus only on providing your body what it
needs through meals that are focused on nutrition you will be able to realize noticeable weight loss results
within just a few weeks.

You will also realize through the process of not eating snack foods that in time you won't miss them and
you will stop craving them. Seems hard to believe? Well, believe it because it is true. Human bodies are
adaptable. Once our bodies get used to something it therefore wants it because that is what it is used to
getting; it adapted to your lifestyle food choices. Cravings for snack foods are learned habit not genetically
embedded signals.

After you cut out the snacking over time your body will adapt and you will notice that you stop thinking
about those snack foods. How long will that take? It depends on how long you have been living the food
lifestyle you have been living. The answer to that question varies as much as our DNA varies but the
reality is that it will happen. One thing is for sure, it won't happen over night. Our bodies are complex and
nothing happens quickly. For changes to occur time is needed but in time it will occur.

Diet drinks can also help shed pounds because if the drink isn't a diet drink it has calories that add up to
gaining weight and fat. Most regular sodas are 120 calories a drink for just 12 oz ! Add those up if you
drink more than one per day and you could be adding the calorie weight of an entire meal to your day
needlessly!

Don't like the taste of diet drinks? Experiment with different brands and find one that tastes similar to your
regular drink there are plenty of choices out there. Start drinking a diet drink instead of your usual non diet
drink and in time, again, your body will adapt and you will never go back to regular high calorie drinks.

Just by cutting out snacking, which no body actually needs, and switching to diet drinks you will notice a
huge difference in your energy levels and realize noticeable weight loss.

When you go to the grocery store avoid the huge chip and snack aisles that exist at every major grocery
store to help resist the urge to go back to bad snacking habits.

If you are struggling to get to the next meal eat a piece of fruit or a carrot. It will give your mouth the taste
of sweet with a healthy effect and get you through to the next meal. That does not mean eat multiple
servings of fruit or carrots however.

If you have been eating a lot of calories over time on a daily basis between your snacks and your meals
you will have to go through a period where you resist the hunger pangs that your body will send you until it
adapts to the new calorie intake and the elimination of snacking habits.

But again, you will realize in time not only a loss of weight but also your body will eventually adapt to not
craving those snacks at all. Time is the factor that makes the difference between weight loss success and
weight loss failure. You must give your body time to adjust, accept the fact that it will take time and be
prepared to meet that time challenge and you can and will succeed. Its biologically indisputable!
